We updated another host without unexpected side effects (a couple of slow storage responses as predicted). Due to the long duration we'll be able to update one host each day over the next 8 days and keep scheduling maintenances accordingly.

We need to reboot our storage servers to adjust BIOS settings for improved stability and perform preventative filesystem checks. We will take down storage servers individually and let them recovery to minimize impact. We will update about 1-2 hosts every day.

We expect no significant interruptions aside from temporarily blocked IO during 1-2 minute windows during recovery.
