To improve our data center uplink availability when performing a fail-over between redundant routers we are going to improve the configuration together with the data center.

Our current configuration causes around 20-30 seconds of traffic forwarding interruption and will be improved to fail over in 5 seconds or less.

We expect to perform a few fail-over actions in this period to validate the new configuration which will cause small temporary interruptions.
