We are migrating our NixOS platform CI/CD server that generates our Linux distribution and provides binary packages as well as VM images to a new hardware platform and will experience an extended downtime in this period.
A backup system is in place that has all relevant data that is needed to keep our system automation running, to bootstrap new VMs and to perform system upgrades and application deployments. However, as this system is going to be used for a longer period of time for the first time we may see unexpected failures during any of the mentioned tasks. Our team will be monitoring the situation closely and will respond to unexpected issues as they arise.
The performance of running applications is not affected.
