A regression discovered in an upcoming NixOS platform release was prevented from rolling out to production, but has already reached several customer staging machines (fc-24.11-staging).
Bringing these staging machines back on the automated release track requires manual intervention. We will switch the running system back to a working state during the announced period. This might cause a brief service interruption: - building the new system causes increased system load - switching to the new system can restart changed services
While the affected systems are all marked as non-production, we attempt to reduce the noticeable impact by doing this work during off-hours (UTC+2) and operating in batches.
