We are improving our backup data center's routing infrastructure. The uplinks for those data centers will be migrated from our internal general DC switching platform to a separate auxiliary switch to improve overall redundancy and resiliency.

Most services will only experience a short downtime while rewiring the uplink. We expect at most a few seconds of interruption.

Very few services (specifically Hydra and other non-customer visible services) will experience a few minutes of outage while we're replacing an older switch at the same time.
